Be Strong And Courageous

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 NKJV)

If you read the entire chapter of Joshua 1 you will see that it says, "be strong and of good courage," four different times. God knew Joshua and He wanted Joshua to know that he needs to be strong and full of courage. 

The promise God gave to Joshua in verse 9 is something we can claim today for our own. God is with us no matter where we are and what is going on around us. God has promised us that He will never leave us. Jesus before ascending into Heaven promised that He would send the Holy Spirit to be with us. 

There may be times that you feel alone, that things are not going as planned, or that you do not hear what God is saying to you. That is okay. I have been through those seasons as well. All we need to remember that our God is with us. That He has a plan for us and that He is never going to leave us. Rest in the fact that God is with you always, even to the ends of the Earth. Have faith and know He is there with you. Be strong and of good courage in all things.
