If there is one word to describe the last few weeks it would be busy. Since the Memorial Day holiday, I have been working at my temp job a lot. Currently Averaging over 50 hours a week. It is insane. Most days are 10 hour shifts. I am awake at 4:30 am, head out the door an hour later, and return home just before 5 pm. It makes for a long day, and the heat and humidity does not help at all either. Once home its a quick shower and dinner before doing a few things in my room before heading to bed. Sundays tend to be for sure day off each week. Thankfully the 4th of July holiday provided a much needed 3 day weekend. I have been able to relax outside in the shade and just be still. Also, had a bonfire and set off some fireworks.
You may be wondering how in the world I make it through each day? The answer is simple. I am focused on what is ahead for me, and that is going to the Philippines. Each day that passes is another day closer to finally being able to board a plane to my favorite island nation. These days are flying by. It is already July now. For over two years I have been dreaming of returning to the Philippines. Each day I inch closer. Each day that passes the excitement grows. As of right now things are on track for me to start ministry in the Philippines in February. At this time please continue to pray for me as there are still some things to work out before I go and as I start researching my flight options. Thank you.
