Guilty Of Having Faith

When I stand before God, there is one thing I want to be found Guilty of, that is Faith in God. Yes I am serious. Faith is everything. As stated in Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Another quote about faith that I have seen hanging on the wall of a friends house is, "Faith is not believing that God can, it is knowing that GOD will."
I know that I have been called to the Philippines as a missionary and I have the faith the God will provide the way there. Yes, it may not be how I see it or when I see it, but God has a plan and His own timing. God is working all things together for good. When things do not happen they way that I want them to I can either be discouraged or I can press into God more. I know that my God will not fail me and He will deliver on His promises.

Living a life full of Faith is not always easy. For starters the enemy wants to throw us off, he doesn't want to see us do what God wants us to do. However, with God on our side nothing can stand against us. Also, God will test us, not to see us fail, but to help us grow. God will test our faith and we are to rejoice in those moments for as it says in James 1:3, "knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience."

I want my faith to grow, that has been a prayer of mine for a couple of years now. I know God is answering that prayer. My faith has grown over the last couple of years. I have seen what God can do. When I see my God and my Savior face to face, I want to hear Him say, man of Faith, you were faithful to Me and faithful with all that I have given you, welcome home.

I would like to end with some encouragement to you. No matter where you are in life, God has you there for a reason, you can be on the mountaintop of rest or in the valley of trials. Our God is the God of both the mountains and valleys. He is with you always and will never leave you of forget about you. Remain in faith my brothers and sisters for God has bigger and better things waiting for us.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD,
And He delights in his way
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the LORD upholds him with His hand.
(Psalms 37: 23-24)
