Have you ever been on a roller coaster? I have been on a couple in my lifetime. Never went on the extremely fast ones. I think the fastest I went was like 74 mph. As someone that doesn't like heights that about did it for me. Freaked me out. But, moving on from that, life is like being on a roller coaster. There are ups and downs, there are fast times and slow times. It is what we do in each of these times in our life that matters the most. These last few weeks for me personally have been nothing but a roller coaster. Days have been up and days have been down, it has been moving very quickly and sometimes just wishing it would slow down in order to catch my breath. This is where I am extremely thankful for the friends in my life that are there for me. They understand what is going on, they encourage me and they pray for me.
The thing is that God allows things to happen in our life. It all can not all be uphill in the sun getting a nice tan. There will be stormy days, with rain, or snow, at times. It is a time to grow, a time to test your faith. I can not say that I personally pass all the time the first time but, eventually my faith and understanding in who God is grows deeper with each moment. No matter where you are in your walk in Christ, no matter the season, the top of the hill or racing down hold on for life, God has a purpose and a plan for what is happening. He is getting you ready for the plans He has for you and the calling He has placed on your life. Take each moment and press into God more. When things are going well, rejoice in Christ and his blessings, when they are not, rejoice in the fact that God is there with you helping you out and is taking care of you and you will emerge from it stronger than when you entered. Life is like a roller coaster, so sit down, buckle up, and enjoy the ride. God has an amazing plan for each of you.
