Updates and Changes

Hello Everyone. Long time no blog. The last blog I wrote was April of last year just before I left the Philippines. I still remember that day that I had to get on the plane and make the long travel back home. It was a hard day and I sure do miss a lot of my friends that I made while in the Philippines. However, God is in control and He has great plans.

You might be wondering what I have been up to for over a year? There is some to share. Most importantly I have a job, a real job this time. I work full time and have health insurance. It is nice work as I get to drive around in a work truck. I get to locate underground electric lines and cable television lines. It is exciting and is a big responsibility. You have to be good, you have to know your stuff. The lives of people and their property are in your hands. You do not want to know that someone starts digging into the earth and find out that they hit an electric line and was killed. It is a bad feeling to think about. Thankfully, I have not had to deal with that. I do a wonderful job and I get to go home every night knowing I protected our customers property in marking their lines, and have help the contractors that are digging know where they should avoid or use caution.

Next, I got my own apartment. After years of living with my family I found my own place right across town. I am still close enough to walk on over to see how they are doing. However, I like my own space and this apartment has given it to me. I moved in last September and I have enjoyed it. A nice little two bedroom with lots of space to spread out and enjoy. 

Finally, the reason for this post and the direction I think this website is going to take. I am in love with the most amazing, beautiful, and God loving woman that I know. It is truly a blessing to have her in my life and I can not imagine what it would be like right now to not have her. 

This is the direction I think this website is going, to focus on this relationship, and share with you what we go through, the things we learn. We both feel that God has big plans for our relationship and will use it to make an impact of marriages and relationships in a Godly way.

The website name is staying the same in case you are wondering. Why you may ask? Well she is from the Philippines so my heart is still in the Philippines. Why not keep the website this way. 

​Please come back again soon. In the next post I will be introducing the love of my life and sharing how we met. Also, we will share about the first several months of our relationship and even speak of the immigration process we will go through in order for us to be married. Stay tuned.
